I have searched and read lots of the pros and cons of using social networks as "learning tools". It appears it is like trying to rescue a kitten up a tree. It will sit on a branch miaowing and watch you cajoling and calling and as soon as you get close it will be up to another branch. You will both end up "out on a limb". This precarious position will result in you falling and breaking your leg. Meanwhile the cat will merely just eventually land on her feet.

Goals

To make a checklist of technologies from the 23 things and how they will enhance
1. my role at the Reference desk
2. Instructing students in classes etc.
